About the Author

Doughtry ‘Doc’ Long born in Atlanta, Georgia, is a retired teacher of literature and creative writing at Trenton Central High School in Trenton, New Jersey. His poetry has appeared in numerous literary anthologies and magazines. Father of Actress Nia Long , Comedian 'Sommore', and Djamila, Doc is a Dodge Foundation Poet and has received a grant from the New Jersey State Council for the Arts.
